Designed and built to complement an existing cliff top home in Portsea we built many years earlier, the existing pool house was extended and renovated to create an additional living space for the owners growing extended family. The ground floor was completely renovated to include a kitchen, dining, living, gym and laundry. An upper floor was added to accommodate a bedroom suite and ensuite. Large glazed tilt doors open to the pool area allowing a seamless flow between the two areas. Timber strapping detail together with limestone flooring and handmade tiles create a beautiful warm and coastal ambience internally. Well considered dormer windows on the upper level provide beautiful framed views to the well-established garden.
